Dirt Road Radio has a new home. Every Monday from 6-8pm you can find Dirt Road Radio on KFMG 99.1 FM in Des Moines, Iowa. Broadcasting live from studios in the beautiful Hotel Fort Des Moines, Dirt Road Radio features the best in new releases from national, international and Iowa artists, as well as live, in-studio performances.

Dirt Road Radio was born in February 2004, airing on KSWI 95.7 FM in Atlantic, Iowa. For one hour every Sunday night, the normally restrictive commercial airwaves were transformed into an ever changing, exciting and eclectic mix of new music. In 2006 the show was expanded to two hours.

And now in February 2008, Dirt Road Radio can be heard by listeners in Iowa's Capitol City, and by new music fans the world over. Streaming audio is available on www.kfmg991.org  . KFMG 99.1 FM is a community operated, non-commercial adult alternative station staffed with hosts who care about the music and the community and Dirt Road Radio is proud to be part of the KFMG family.
